Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) is a Christian
outreach ministry supporting churches worldwide in its mission of

The organization and its affiliates offer a broad range of financial
products and services including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds,
disability income insurance, bank products and more.
As a not-for-profit membership organization, Thrivent Financial also
sponsors national outreach programs and activities that enable its
members to demonstrate their care for others through support of
congregations, schools, charitable organizations and needy individuals.

Lutheran Churches in Rhode Island
- the ELCA lists twelve
congregations in Rhode Island including St. James. This link

Organizations meeting at St. James
- Al-Anon of Rhode
Island
The Monday night meetings are for Adult Children of
Alcoholics, but anyone in need of Al-Anon may attend. All
groups are Al-Anon before they are anything else. The name
of the Monday night meeting is Joy Beckons Al-Anon Adult
Children.
The Saturday morning meeting is a regular Al-Anon discussion
group. The third meeting of each month is dedicated to an
Al-Anon Step or a Tradition. The name of the Saturday
meeting is Loving Hearts Al-Anon.
Both groups run for an hour and a half and take a ten minute
break halfway through.
There are no dues or fees, but we do pass the hat.
