Installation - As previously discussed, we will celebrate the installation of Pr. Andrew on September 26th.  Our service will be led by Rev. What an amazing way to end the week!


Last nights mass was simply amazing.  The people were so genuine in their gratefulless.  During the sermon, each of us had to get up and give testimony to our week here.  I said that I didn't know what to expect, but that I learned alot about myself (such as my ability to speak spanish that I did not know I had), and that I hoped to return to learn more about myself again and the culture.  Everyone else had...

Day 6 Honduras, Last Day in Omoa

It´s always hard to say goodbye.  And we are definitely having a hard time here in Omoa.  Tonight is our last night in the city we have called home for the past week, as well as our last night with Padre Medence and Fredy.  Having to say goodbye to thee children in Chachuala was hard enough.  We only knew them for three days and already we were so attatched to them.  But to say goodbye to Helen, Francis, Lizzy and Fredy is going to be even harder.  They...

Day 5: The Best Day Ever


Today was by far the best day since we've been here! We woke up and had cornflakes with apple slices for the girls and omlets, tortillas, cheese and apples for the boys. (yummy!) We then went to the church and got to helpwith the construction project. We put up the rest of the drywall and spackled it while Fredy sang "My Heart Will Go On" and "Unbreak My Heart."
