We are, however, still in need of volunteers for the Sept 11 event this year, especially: * Traffic Control 7:30 AM -10:00 AM * Unpackers 7:00 AM -10:00 AM * Sales 8:00 AM -11:00 AM or 11:00AM -2:00 PM * Book table 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM If you will be available to help out in one of these areas on the 11th, please be sure to sign up on the sheets in the community room so that we might plan accordingly. Come on, you know you want to join in!! See you then! S t. James Online Manage Your Subscriptions Scroll . Bulletin . Web Site . Message-ID: [cid:image001.jpg at 01CB5028.324F68D0] Volunteers Still Needed Saturday - St. James' Greatest Yard Sale Ever Volunteers are still urgently needed for this Saturday's "Greatest Yard Sale Ever". Because of our soup kitchen commitments, the Hammonasset Youth Weekend, and other member obligations, we are not going to have a lot of the regulars that we normally have for the yard sale and we are really hurting!! If you are able to help for any amount of time between 7 and 2 this Saturday, Sept 11, please contact Liz Tanner at liz at tannerlawltd.com today. Thanks so much!! Andrew's Installation Message-ID: <52E0B944DCCD4B068BDF1D016E96BC81@DebiPlum> Good afternoon friends, Pr. Andrew's Installation is scheduled for next Sunday, September 26th at 3:00 PM. To make sure the day is especially 'special', please note the following: * A Bible is planned as an installation gift with a special twist: we ask that each person attending the event highlight and sign (in margin) a passage that has special meaning to them. So, please be thinking of which passage YOU would like to highlight and talk it over with other members of your family and/or St. James friends. We hope that this will result in a meaningful and cherished reminder of the day. * Following the installation service we will have an afternoon tea sponsored by all the generous kitchen genies at St. James. A sign up sheet is available in the community room. We ask that you be mindful of the item you are planning to provide: all goodies should be in the 'finger food' category (no salads, soups, etc.). * Remember to attend your regular service, Kids Club, etc. in the morning! See you then! :-) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The Worship & Music Team is very interested in feedback about the logistics and content of the summer service. Your comments will help the team ensure that St. James continues to offer worship services that meet the needs of our entire faith community throughout the year. The survey is attached to this e-mail in a format that allows you to type your comments right into the document and then print it. Of course if you prefer, you may print the survey and mark responses with pen or pencil. In either case, we'd like them returned by November 1st. There will be a box on the table in the Community Room labeled "Summery Service Survey Results". Questions may be directed to Mary Hassan or any member of the Worship & Music Team. Thanks so much! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
