Prayer Requests

How do I submit a prayer request?

Prayer requests can be submitted by subscribers to the Prayer Chain. See the preceeding section on how to subscribe. Subscribers may, however, submit requests on the behalf of others.

Complete the Prayer Request Form and submit it or fill out a Prayer Request card and drop it in the box marked “Prayer Requests” outside the sanctuary. Requests will be sent to the members of the prayer chain through the Prayer Chain e-mail distribution list. Those that do not have access to a computer or e-mail will be notified by telephone during set hours. You may also contact prayer team members directly and they will relay your requests.

If you wish to submit a request to Pastor only, contact the church office or send an e-mail to: Pastor@StJames-RI.org.

What can I request?

The Prayer Chain is dedicated to intercessory prayer. Prayers are lifted up to God on your behalf or on the behalf of those that you name. We will pray for anything that touches your heart.

Prayers are not only for times of trial and suffering, they are also for hope and thankful celebration of all His blessings.
